Full Cast for Spielberg’s Next Movie “War Horse”

Posted on 17 June 2010 by Andrew

Empire Magazine now has the full cast list for Steven Spielberg’s upcoming movie War Horse.  The movie is based off the acclaimed book by Michael Morpurgo.  Lee Hall and Richard Curtis are adapting the screenplay, which had recently become a stage play as well.  You can go to the link for the full cast list, but I will list a few notables here.  Almost the entire cast is made up of British actors and will shoot in the UK in August. Some of the cast include Stephen Graham, Jeremy Irvine, Peter Mullan, Emily Watson, and David Thewlis.  The movie is set to come out next year on August 10, 2011.

JJ Abram’s Super 8 Teaser

Posted on 11 May 2010 by Andrew

JJ Abrams super secret movie now has a title and trailer  – Super 8.  Steven Spielberg is producing the film slated to come out next summer.  Other than that, we know nothing else about this.  Abrams loves to use secrecy and mystery as selling points for all his projects (remember the secret Cloverfield trailer that surprised everyone before Transformers?).  So far what we can tell about this movie is that it is sci-fi and is about Area 51.  The rest is up to your imagination.

New Men in Black Movie in 3D

Posted on 22 April 2010 by Andrew

Director Barry Sonnenfield has officially confirmed that Men in Black 3 is happening, and it will be in 3D.  Showbiz411 breaks the story as Sonnenfield confirms that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones have both signed on.  the new movie already has a script written by Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) and it’s possible that the movie will be released on Memorial weekend in 2011.  Men in Black is a franchise that needs a revamp after their dismal sequel a few years back, and having Cohen write the screenplay and Smith and Jones back is a great start for Sony.
