Before The Trailer (BTT) was created for fans of movie making – the locations, the film crew and the behind the scenes activities that really make movies come to life.  You’ll find BTT to be a great source for filming location information.  We rely on a variety of information sources (tips from readers, information from passers-by, news sources etc.) to provide timely information on filming locations across the country.  We broadcast that information on our website as well as Facebook and Twitter.  If you know of an upcoming filming location or have a tip for us you can email it directly to admin@beforethetrailer.com.  There is no registration or login in required!  We also know that sometimes you have information to share but you choose to remain anonymous.  We understand completely, and will respect your wishes.

If you haven’t liked us on Facebook or followed us on Twitter, please do so.  Some of our best information comes from people just like you telling us what’s going on outside of your home or office window!  We have over 1,500 followers on Twitter and over 3,300 fans have “liked” our page on Facebook.  Our numbers grow every day and with each new addition our information gets better!  We hope you’ll help us grow and encourage your friends to follow or like BTT via the links on our home page.

We keep you up to date on movie news, pictures from movie sets and upcoming filming locations.  We’re also bringing you a few interviews along the way.  We’re not only talking to stars of upcoming films but also the people who bring those films to life!  You’ll see we have a very specific goal about these interviews further down the page.

For those of you in the movie industry, we feel that one of our purposes is to help spread the word about your film and get people excited about your movie.  Sharing filming information, posting set pictures, sharing casting information and the like helps build a community of fans who are dedicated to the film you are making.  They follow the movie from script to screen and share their passion for your film with others to help generate more fans along the way.  BTT enjoys being a part of building this community and is always interested in finding new and creative ways to partner with you.

BTT is run by a very small, but dedicated contingent of volunteer contributors.  You’ll see the below names attached to articles or postings on Facebook.  We simply could not do what we do without their help!  You can also see that we’re spread across the country!  We’re always looking for contributors to the site.  If you’re interested email admin@beforethetrailer.com!

We’ve set some specific goals for the 2011 year.  We know that if we write these down and share them with you, you’ll help keep us in line and make sure we’re meeting our goals!  Check back to this page to follow our progress!
1.  Provide you with at least one new interview each month!  (So far, we’re holding to our word!)
2.  Create BTT T-shirts so you can help spread the word!  (We just wrapped our logo design contest and hope to have this goal met sometime in March!)
3.  Become a business in the State of Washington.  (Scheduled for completion in March)
