Mark Wahlberg’s character John and Mila Kunis’ character Lori were filming a central scene in Charlie’s Sandwich Shoppe in the South End yesterday. After what is described as a heated conversation between their characters, Wahlberg snorts out of the restaurant. You can check out some set photos from yesterday here and here.

On May 2, 2011 Mark Wahlberg was shooting interior scenes at Old Tedeschi’s (located at 375 Tremont Street in Bay Village, Boston) which has been turned into Liberty Rent-A-Car. It was used as Wahlberg’s character’s workplace.

Buzz Focus has posted an interesting article that tells us a bit more about the roles of Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Joel McHale, Jessica Stroup and newest cast addition Laura Vandervoort.

Ted is the comedic buddy tale of John (Wahlberg), a man who made a wish that his teddy bear would come to life when he was young. The wish came true and remained a fixture of John’s life and did not impeded on him having a normal life. But Ted begins to cramp John’s life when he decides to adopt a more adult lifestyle and pursue Lori (Kunis), the girl of John’s dreams. Vandervoort will play Tayna, John’s co-worker in car rental sales who is clueless to the endless line of men drooling over her.

McHale plays Rex, Lori’s boss, and Stroup is Lori’s co-worker who has slept with Rex and knows him to have many fetishes. MacFarlane will play the voice of Ted, the only character animated in the live action film.
