Joan Philo Casting is searching for CHILDREN and ADULTS!
The feature film “LITTLE FOCKERS,” directed by PAUL WEITZ (About a Boy, American Pie) is coming to town! We are searching for attentive, dedicated, people to work as paid, non-speaking extras/stand-ins. We will be shooting in the Chicagoland area from October 2nd – October 8th (days/nights).
We are especially searching for CHILDREN to work as photo doubles for two of the child actors (this means we need to find children who fit the same stats as the child actors to work on set). We are searching for children who know how to pay attention and are comfortable around other adults and children. Children are treated very well on film sets.
*Caucasian female child, brown hair (or blonde), shoulder length and longer, medium to slim build, 45” to 48” tall.
*Caucasian male child, brown hair, 45” to 48”, medium to slim build.

In order to be considered to work as an extra you must obtain a work permit for your child and send it ASAP to Joan Philo Casting. P.O. Box 13084, Chicago, IL 60613.
The work permit must be specifically for “Joan Philo Casting.” Go to TheDarlingseries.com to download the letter-of-intent needed to apply for the work permit. For all submission please include the height and weight of your child (compute your child’s height in inches only, in flat feet) and all clothing sizes. Please include mom and dad’s name with the information.
We are searching for all ages (kids/adults) as we have park scenes and street scenes. All scenes are outside.
We are only casting people that are live in the Chicago area.
We are casting people to drive their cars in a scene. If you are a good driver (comfortable backing up and take direction well) please send in a picture of your car, with the color, year, and make off the car. No red, white, or black cars, please.
Please let us know if you have a bike, or skates, or any special talents as you never know what might come up – the more skills we know you have, the better we are able to cast you as an extra.

Please note that sending in a photograph does not guarantee an extra role. We will consider all submissions. All photographs are chosen by the directors – please make sure your picture is one where we can see you, as we need to show these photos to the directors. Give yourself the best chance!
